STOP WASTING YOUR MONEY ON GOOGLE ADS!
You see, I might not be an SEO expert, but good lord do people find the dumbest things to spend their money on, thinking that it’s going to be bring them clients.
Everytime you look at your analytics, you see hundreds to thousands of users coming to your website. But you have maybe 1 or 2 conversions, IF that. And you wonder, how am I getting all of these visitors to my website, but my bounce rate is through the roof, nobody has filled out my forms nor sent me an email, and all of the visitors are only visiting one page.
That’s because you purchased Google Ads to get a bunch of damn bots to visit your website. It’s like purchasing viewers on Twitch. Viewbotting has been a thing for years. People used to(and probably still do it)on Instagram. People did it on Twitch. They tried to do it on YouTube, but I think they put the kibosh on that.
Very rarely are you going to get real leads to visit your website via ads. I mean, most people that are at minimum 45 years old and younger are going to have some type of ad block on. Heck, most people are steering away from Google. Just last week, more people migrated from Google Search to DuckDuckGo very quickly. And with using browsers like Brave that has built in ad block, and extensions like uBlock Origin, AdGuard and others.
Long story short, people HATE ads. How you feel watching something like WWE Wrestlemania, and you get ads more than you get content? They’re going to turn away from it. And that’s the way it is with Google Ads. People are going to try to block those at any and all costs. But you know what’s not going to block those ads? Bots. Nothing but the same bots you’d see being located in India, Russia, Singapore, and China. You look at your analytics and you see everyone coming from those locations, outside of the ones that are tied to VPNs and you see cities you never even heard of visiting your website. Like…why the hell you got so many visitors from Ashburn visiting your website when you’re based in Mississippi? It makes 0 sense.
So yeah, this is longer than I wanted it to be. My bad. I say all that to say this. Stop spending money on Google Ads, and focus more on organic reach. Whether it be hyper posting on social media until you get on everyones last nerves, learning how to elevate your keywords, or anything else to help bring in traffic.
